1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using indiaoutbound.live (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, including travel trade professionals, tourism board staff, journalists, researchers, and members of the public.

The Service is provided by Sagar Ajinkya ("Operator"), an individual operating indiaoutbound.live as an independent research and intelligence project.

2. Description of Service

indiaoutbound.live is a travel intelligence dashboard aggregating and presenting data about India's outbound tourism market. The Service provides:

• Live flight capacity data from third-party APIs (AeroDataBox, OpenSky Network)
• Published airline schedule data (manually curated from public timetables)
• Seasonality statistics derived from official tourism board publications
• Traveller profiles compiled from published tourism research
• Travel agent directory (independently compiled and verified)
• Trade show and event listings
• News aggregation from third-party RSS feeds
• Destination lifestyle guides and itineraries (editorial content)

The Service is provided free of charge for informational purposes. No financial transaction or subscription is required to access any feature of the dashboard as currently offered.

3. Data Accuracy & Disclaimer

Flight Data

Flight capacity figures are derived from AeroDataBox FIDS (Flight Information Display System) API for high-frequency routes, and from manually curated published airline timetables for long-haul destinations. Live data is cached with TTLs of 12–24 hours for frequent routes and up to 7 days for infrequent routes. Data may not reflect last-minute cancellations, schedule changes, or unplanned capacity alterations.

Passenger estimates are modelled figures using an 84% assumed load factor applied to seat capacity data. These are estimates, not actual measured passenger counts, unless explicitly labelled as official arrivals statistics.

Seasonality Statistics

Arrival statistics are sourced from official tourism board annual reports and are accurate as of publication date. 2024 data is used where available; 2023 data where 2024 has not yet been published. Historical data may not be representative of future demand.

Traveller Profiles

KPI figures (spend per trip, length of stay, booking lead time) are sourced from published reports by DTCM, TAT, STB, VisitBritain, MakeMyTrip Insights, Booking.com India, and other cited sources. These represent survey averages and should be understood as market-level indicators, not guaranteed individual traveller behaviour.

Travel Agent Directory

Travel agents listed have been verified against available public sources including company registries, IATA databases, and official websites as of verification date. The Operator does not endorse any listed agent and makes no representation about their current business status, licensing, or service quality. Verify agent credentials independently before commercial engagement.

News Content

News items are aggregated from third-party RSS feeds and link to original publisher sources. The Operator does not author, fact-check, or endorse the content of aggregated articles. News content is the responsibility of the original publisher.

Visa and Entry Information

Visa fees, processing times, and entry requirements shown on this Service are indicative only and subject to frequent change by sovereign governments. Always verify current visa requirements at the official embassy or immigration authority website before travel.

The following elements of the Service are original works owned by the Operator:

• The dashboard design, visual presentation, and user interface
• Original editorial content including destination guides, itineraries, and lifestyle pages
• Data compilation, curation, and presentation methodology
• The software codebase (backend and frontend)
• The indiaoutbound.live brand, wordmark, and visual identity

You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, sell, license, or create derivative works from any content of this Service without explicit written permission from the Operator, except as permitted under applicable fair use provisions for personal, non-commercial research purposes.

Permitted use: Citing specific statistics from this Service in research, journalism, or professional reports is permitted provided attribution is given as: "Source: indiaoutbound.live" with the URL and access date.

Prohibited use: Reproducing dashboard pages, embedding the Service in commercial products, scraping the API endpoints, or presenting the Service's data as your own original research without attribution are prohibited.

5. Licensing Enquiries

The Operator considers commercial licensing arrangements for:

• Tourism boards and DMOs wishing to white-label or embed destination intelligence modules
• Airlines, hotels, or travel companies wanting branded data feeds
• Research organisations requiring API access to aggregated India outbound statistics
• Publishing partners wishing to syndicate editorial content with attribution

6. Third-Party Data Sources

The Service incorporates data from the following third-party sources, subject to their respective terms:

• AeroDataBox (via API.Market) — flight schedule and FIDS data. AeroDataBox terms apply to underlying data.
• OpenSky Network — ADS-B flight cross-reference data under OpenSky Network's Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 licence.
• open.er-api.com — live currency exchange rates (USD base). Free tier, no commercial restriction.
• Official tourism board publications — DTCM, TAT, STB, VisitBritain, Tourism Malaysia, Maldives Tourism, Atout France, Brand USA, Tourism Australia, JNTO. All used under their respective open-data or press/research provisions.
• RSS news feeds — ET TravelWorld, Travel Trade Journal, TravelBiz Monitor, Skift. Articles link to original publishers; no content is reproduced on this Service.

7. Privacy & Cookies

indiaoutbound.live does not collect personal data from visitors. There is no user registration, login, or account system.

The Service does not set any analytics, tracking, or advertising cookies. It does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking service.

The only data processing that occurs is standard server access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) retained by Render.com, the hosting provider, in accordance with their privacy policy. These logs are used solely for security and performance monitoring and are not shared with any third party by the Operator.

Third-party CDN resources (Chart.js via cdnjs.cloudflare.com; flag-icons via cdn.jsdelivr.net) may set their own cookies or record access logs subject to Cloudflare's and jsDelivr's respective privacy policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The Operator makes no warranty that:

• The Service will be continuously available or error-free
• The data presented is complete, accurate, or current at any given moment
• Flight data reflects actual operating schedules at the time of viewing
• Traveller profile statistics apply to any specific traveller segment

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages arising from commercial decisions made based on data presented herein.

The Operator is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party websites linked from this Service, including news articles, source publications, and official tourism board reports.

9. Changes to Terms & Contact

The Operator reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be noted in the Last Updated date above.
